Taxes for Bernostoxs of stocks:

Long-Term Capital Gains (LTCG): For stocks held for more than 1 year, the LTCG tax rate is 12.5% of the total gains if the gains for the year exceed ₹1.25 lakh.

Short-Term Capital Gains (STCG): For stocks held for less than 1 year, the STCG tax rate is 20% of the total gains.

ETF taxation:

Equity ETFs : STCG tax rate is 20% of the total gains. If held for more than 1 year, will be considered under LTCG. LTCG up to 1.25 lakhs is exempted. Above that, gains are taxed at 12.5%

Other ETFs : STCG tax rate is 20% of the total gains. If held for more than 1 year, will be considered under LTCG. Taxed at 15%

Liquid bees and REIT taxation: same as above.

Rebalancing is done by the research team/creator of the Bernostoxs as per its schedule. It is not an automatic process; you would be notified via email when a Bernostoxs you have invested in has a rebalance update available. You can review the changes and apply the update in 2 clicks.
